Robusta coffee

The robust coffees have more caffein than the arábica, around 3%.Its flavor stronger, characterizing to them grain is cleared. Their plants are much more resistant, but they lack a fine and pleasant aroma.

The color of crude grains is darker and less uniform (yellow greenish for the washings, and bronze for the natural ones).They are not aromatic and they have smaller sugar and oil content. It is harvested mainly in Africa although also it is necessary to emphasize the Brazilian harvests.
